This was the last Biohazard album with Bobby Hambel, who left due to distinctions with the remainder of the band. Hambel hung out in White Devil, also featuring members of the Cro-Mags, before seemingly leaving the music company entirely. In late 1995, the band, along with Therapy? and Gunshot, contributed remixes to the Pitchshifter album.

It was produced with the assistance of Dave Jerden. For the 199697 Mata Leao Tour, the band worked with former Helmet guitar player Rob Echeverria.
