This was the last Biohazard album with Bobby Hambel, who left due to distinctions with the remainder of the band. Hambel hung out in White Devil, likewise featuring members of the Cro-Mags, before seemingly leaving the music service totally. In late 1995, the band, together with Treatment? and Gunshot, contributed remixes to the Pitchshifter album.

It was produced with the help of Dave Jerden. For the 199697 Mata Leao Tour, the band worked with previous Helmet guitarist Rob Echeverria. The band also played on the Ozzfest mainstage along with Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Danzig, Worry Factory, and Sepultura. In the exact same year, Biohazard signed 2 new record handle SPV/Steamhammer in Europe and Sanctuary Records for the rest of the world. In spite of the new record offers, the band took some personal time in order to deal with other jobs.

After composing and tape-recording around twenty songs for the job called Blu, Bair transferred to Los Angeles, California to continue an art profession and the task dissolved. Graziadei also began work on a book, Tales From The Hardside. Schuler used his downtime to perform with New york city band Amongst Burglars as a replacement drummer for the leaving Will Shepler.
