I love the Olympics and find myself glued to the sofa whenever they're on, no mater what Countries are competing or who my team is, I just love watching the Olympics. There is so much emotion in the races and at the winners podium I can feel what the athletes are going through in my own way.

So if you're like me you might find yourself in the Olympic Museum of Lausanne Switzerland. It turns out that this hilly city on the coast of Lake Geneva is home to the International Olympic Committee. It's something any arm chair athlete has to see if you happen to find yourself on Lake Geneva. There are a couple other quaint towns close by that are definitely worthy of hanging around for a while.

For instance if you like roughing it in 4 and 5 star hotels then the Golf Hotel Rene Capt is a must. You could make it home base for a week or so and take in the natural beauty of the area.
