It is almost impossible for us to connect back home to Chicago on the same day from wherever we are in the world; Zurich is no exception. The IHG Club (Intercontinental Hotel Group), formerly known as "Priority Club" is a huge boon since we are forever using points for free hotel nights.

Holiday Inn Express Hotels is part of IHG and even if paying for a room is one of our favorite chains. Clean, relatively inexpensive and a large buffet breakfast is always included in rates.
