Interlaken, town in Switzerland, tourists walk around, very quaint gingerbread architecture. A serviceman does some window shopping. A family goes for a carriage ride. The village of Merligen on the Lake of Thun. General views of the town. From the lake villas and chalets on the shores. The Sportbahn, 'a mountain railway', Beatenberg Neiderhorn., its is really a chairlift used in the summertime to take people to the top of the mountain. Couples of elderly ladies swing out of the base on the chair lift. Views of the valley and lakes from the lift. A chalet at the top of the chairlift route. A chair lift with smiling passengers swinging into the door of the disembarking shed, it disappears inside. Deck chairs on the porch of the chalet. Driving along the road to Interlaken from merligen. Tourists looking through a huge telescope to see the Jungfraujock, a mountain towering above the valley. A glacier, winding up the valley. People in very thin clothing climbing on the glacier, walking very carefully so as not to slip. A man rides a dog sled down the path on the glacier. A woman lies stretched out on the dog sled. Houses perked on a cliff face. A raven on the railing of a balcony looking out over the glacier.
Weggis, a village on Lake Lucerne. General views of Lake Lucerne. A tiny Swiss town. The town seen from the lake. A steam boat, the Gottard, pulls up to a dock, where passengers wait. A packed lakeside dock, as the passengers disembark. Porters line the interior of the docking area as the passengers get off. The smiling steward and shipsman. Vehicle trains take the passengers to the beach. A bus timetable. Two girls and their father enter the bathing house. The beach, lots of people sunbathing. A boy climbs a water toy that rocks back and forth. Children and adults on a toy boat. People sit at café tables beside the lake. A man paddles a boy while his girlfriend lies on in front of him. An older man rows his wife in a row boat. Two little girls on a teeter-totter. Two boys play with a sailboat in the water close to the shore. Men play volleyball on the beach. A very muscled man asleep on a deckchair on the beach, his hands folded over his chest.
