Nendaz is relatively unknown to most UK tourists, but very close to Verbier, which is hugely popular. It has an incredibly beautiful new spa hotel in the Nendaz 4 Valees, it's very smart indeed, and the gondolas are open all summer for walkers. The views from the top of Tracouet, at 2220 metres is simply stunning with panoramic views up and down the Rhone Valley below and also across to Mont Blanc,
