Couchsurfer’s exchange with Switzerland

As an introduction, let us explain you how this all began. In December last year, during one of Sao Paulo couchsurfing group event, members of the group met with Adrien Genier, working at the Swiss Consulate as manager of Switzerland Tourism, the Swiss NTO.
After some beers, came the idea of producing a TV documentary based on the couchsurfing phenomena. The Brazilian couchsurfers would travel to Switzerland and meet their counterparts. Partners from Switzerland Tourism were very interested in showing a young, open and accessible face of their regions, and jumped in the project.
The partners of this project are the following: the Swiss Youth Hostels, the cities of Basel and Lausanne, the region of Interlaken, the Jungfrau Railways and the Lake Geneva Region.
Together with Switzerland Tourism, they prepared an incredible package for the Brazilian couchsurfer community. The offer is available to 10 people maximum, and the participants have to decide whether they will appear on a Brazilian TV show.
