In Ticino, Switzerland, there is a cat that lives like royalty. He listens to a symphony of live music every night, has several feline friends to play with, and eats some of the finest cat food in the world. But this cat didn’t start out wearing a crown. He was found amidst the trash in Lviv, Ukraine.

Join Tricia and me as we chronicle the adventures of Cocoa the Kitten, who traveled over 1,000km across Europe to live the dream in the southern portion of Switzerland: Ticino.

A special thank you to Claudine for welcoming little Cocoa into her home. Claudine treated Tricia and me like family when we were in Ticino, and we couldn’t have asked for a better home for Cocoa to live in. If you get a chance, have a peek at Claudine’s blog: http://claudinegiovannoni.com/. As a global citizen and a strong advocate for animal welfare, she is truly helping to make the world a better place.

A special thank you to the Ticino tourism board who helped us to better understand the region by providing complementary Ticino Cards. If you’d like to learn more about this fantastic region, check out their website at: http://www.ticino.ch/en/. The hashtag #VisitTicino should also offer some fun travel ideas.
