स्विट्जरलैंड में कहां उतरें और सबसे पहले कहां घूमने जाएं, ये सबके मन में एक बड़ा सवाल होता है। कई शहर है जैसे ज्यूरिख, बर्न, लूसान, लुसर्न, जेनेवा इत्यादि। लेकिन हमने फैसला किया कि सबसे पहले हम इंटरलाकेन जाएंगे।

सबसे पहले इटंरलाकेन जाने की दो वजह है। पहली ये कि इंटरलाकेन से ही युंगफ्राऊ पहाड़ी पर जाया जाता है। युंगफ्राऊ को यूरोप का टॉप कहा जाता है इसलिए बतौर टूरिस्ट वहां तो जाना था ही। और दूसरा इसलिए कि इंटरलाकेन में फिल्म निर्देशक यश चोपड़ा का स्मारक है।

चूंकि हम किसी ट्रैवल एजेंसी की माध्यम से नहीं जा रहे थे इसलिए हमें अपनी बुकिंग खुद ही करनी थी। काफी रिसर्च के बाद हमने दो वेबसाइटों को फाइनल किया। पहली www.booking.com और दूसरी www.airbnb.com। हमने इंटरलाकेन में अपार्टमेंट के लिए आखिरकार www.booking.com को चुना।

हमने www.booking.com के जरिए इंटरलाकेन सेंट्रल नाम के एक अपार्टमेंट बुक कराया। तस्वीरें तो वेबसाइट पर देख ली थी। शहर में प्रमुख जगहों से कितना दूर है ये भी पता कर लिया था। सुविधाओं के बारे में भी पढ़ लिया था। ऐसे में अपार्टमेंट कैसा होगा इसका अंदाजा हो गया था।

चाबी लेने का तरीका सीक्रेट था। कुछ कुछ जेम्स बॉन्ड की फिल्मों जैसा। हमें लॉकर का कोड और लीवर खींचने के तरीके के बारे में ई-मेल से बताया गया था। जब हम इंटरलाकेन पंहुचे तो हमने वैसा ही किया जैसा ई-मेल में बताया गया था।

नोट- हिंदी में कई लोग इंटरलाकेन को इंटरलेकन भी लिखते हैं। हालांकि सही उच्चारण इंटरलाकन है।
